We conduct surveys to create a portrait of contemporary Russian philosopher, to determine her beliefs on key issues and to compare them with the philosophical preferences of foreign colleagues.
In 2015 MCCS initiated and organized the survey of Russian philosophical community. The respondents answered 50 questions related to their specialization, academic preferences and views on the classic philosophical problems. The survey involved 1094 professional philosophers.
Preliminary results of the study were published on the website of MCCS and in “Schrödinger’s cat” magazine.
The article containing a detailed analysis of the survey results and demonstrating the difference between the positions of domestic and foreign philosophers on key philosophical questions is coming out soon.
