First pub. in: Вестник Московского университета. Серия 7. Философия. М.: Изд-во Моск. Ун-та. 2015, № 1, с. 21–35.

The article focuses upon the development of Berkeley’s immaterialism from the first mention of the “the immaterial hypothesis” in his manuscripts to the creation of the philosophical doctrine published in “Treatise concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge” and “Three Dialogues between Hylas and Philonus”. The author concentrates on discovery by Berkeley and his attempts to corroborate the principle of “esse is percipi”. The author suggests his own periodization of the development of Berkeley’s immaterialism.
