Enrollment to the course "Modern philosophy of mind" is opened

For all those interested in analytical philosophy and philosophy of mind, an entry is opened for a joint program of the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University and the Moscow Center for Consciousness Studies.


The program of the course "Modern philosophy of mind" is designed for everyone who is interested in modern philosophical research, problems of consciousness and will. The course participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the main philosophical problems of modern studies of mind, learn how the philosophy of mind is connected with cognitive and neuro-sciences, and get acquainted with the ideas of its main representatives. Students will get a general idea of analytical philosophy and what place the philosophy of mind occupies in it.

Teachers of the program: Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vadim Valeryevich Vasilyev, Ph.D., researcher at the Moscow Center for Consciousness Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University Anton Viktorovich Kuznetsov.

Classes start: May 24, 2021. Classes will be held in the format of an interactive webinar in real time for two weeks in the evenings. Students will have the opportunity to ask their questions to lecturers and other students of the course online.
