In this interview Humphrey explains why consciousness is an illusion, a kind of subject of art. Also he tells a story what it is like to live with blindsight and a host of other things.

In this interview Nicholas Humphrey explains why consciousness is an illusion on the one hand and a real thing on another. On his view consciousness is a kind of subject of art. And we conscious beings are the only audience of it. Also he tells about how it is possible to be a scientist and a philosopher at the same time, about meeting with Gorbachev and his participation in nuclear disarmament. Also he reveals some details of a story of discovering the blindsight phenomenon and explain what it is like to live with blindsight.
